2. Access to members’ only section

The website offers an easy access to the IDF Intranet. This access is reserved to individuals designated by IDF’s members (the National Committees) only.

The IDF is not responsible for the content of external websites to which the Website contains a link, nor does the IDF warrant that such websites will be uninterrupted, error free or secure. Hyperlinks to non-IDF Internet sites do not imply any official endorsement of or responsibility for the opinions, ideas, data or products presented at these locations, nor does the IDF guarantee the validity of the information provided on such websites. The sole purpose of links to other sites is to indicate further information available on related topics. By clicking on such links, you will, at your own risk, gain access to the other websites where you may be bound by terms and conditions published on those websites.

4. Pop-Up Advertisements

When visiting the Website, your Web browser may produce pop-up advertisements. These advertisements were most likely produced by other websites you visited or by third-party software installed on your computer. The IDF does not produce pop-up ads unless it is explicitly mentioned that they originate from the IDF and the IDF not endorse or recommend products or services for which you may view a pop-up ad on your computer screen while visiting the Website.

If you order publications or services from the IDF, you will be asked to fill in an order form and specific terms and conditions may be applicable to these orders. When ordering these publications on services, you will be asked to accept these additional terms and conditions.

7. Privacy protection

The IDF is committed to protecting your privacy. Protecting your privacy and your personal data is an important aspect of the way we create, organize and implement our activities on-line and off-line.

7.1 Information automatically collected

If you visit the Website to read or download information, the IDF may collect and store the following information that is automatically recognized: the date and time, the originating IP address, the domain name, the type of browser and operating system used (if provided by the browser), the URL of the referring page (if provided by the browser), the object requested and the completion status of the request. The IDF uses this information to measure the number of visitors to the different areas of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors. You may choose to subscribe to our mailing lists and receive regular updates from the IDF by selecting the appropriate issues of interest when you register personal data. If you choose to register, your information will be available to the IDF Staff for the purpose of publications marketing and events management. If you do not wish to receive such information, you can inform the IDF by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. If you submit a form on our website, we will receive the personal information you include in the form. We will store this information for the duration necessary to allow us to provide the services or information that you have requested or for any additional period as required by law and we will use it to respond to your requests and to communicate with you. We will not transfer your personal data to others, except to the legal successor of IDF in case IDF merges with or is integrated into another entity. Please note that; when the applicable data protection legislation provides for such rights, you have the right at any time to access, correct, update or delete the data you submitted, by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Credit card details are not stored on the IDF website. Visitors proceeding to an online transaction are forwarded to a specialized secure website (see www.ogone.be using verisign technologies) where credit card details are entered. These details are not communicated to IDF nor stored on the IDF website.

8. Technical problems

We make every effort to minimize disruption caused by technical errors. However some data or information on our site may have been created or structured in files or formats, which are not error-free, and we cannot guarantee that our service will not be interrupted or otherwise affected by such problems. The IDF accepts no responsibility with regards to such problems (failure of performance, computer virus, communication line failure, alteration of content, etc.) incurred as a result of using this site or any link to external sites.
