Maastricht is the Capital of Limburg, Netherlands most southern province. Limburg offers a great variety of landscapes: woods, meadows and fields through which the river Meuse flows. Maastricht’s vibrant history and its situation at a crossroads of European cultures, languages and trade routes, lend it a unique charm and an international flavour: a perfect location for the 4th IDF International Mastitis Conference.

General information |

Letter of Invitation
The Conference Managers will issue a letter of invitation upon request. The Organizing Committee would like to clearly state that the letter is only to help the participant to obtain a visa or to raise travel funds and has no further financial obligations to the participant. The Conference Management is only able to send the letter of invitation after receipt of the complete name and postal address of the applicant.
Final Program
A final program will be available on the conference website. The printed version of the program will be distributed upon registration as a part of the conference bag.
Exhibition & Satellite Events
During the conference there will also be an exhibition. The scientific program is being designed to allow participants ample opportunity to visit the exhibits. In addition to the conference and exhibition, satellite events, currently being finalized, will also be offered. Please check the website again in the second half of January 2005 for more information.
Conference Language
The official language of the conference is English. Translations will not be provided.
Conference Breaks
Lunch, coffee, tea and light refreshments will be offered and are included in the registration fee.
Internet Access Point
Internet access for conference attendees will be available at the MECC.
Electricity
Electricity in The Netherlands is supplied at 220V-50HzAC.
Weather and Dress
The weather in The Netherlands in June is usually warm. The average temperature is 23°C. However, a raincoat or umbrella for occasional showers can be useful. The dress code is preferably business casual.
