Work Areas |

 One of IDF’s key tasks is to provide science-based information for the benefit of the dairy sector as well as to international organizations, governments and legislators. 1200 experts appointed by IDF members (the National Committees) work on the areas outlined below. Each of these areas is organized in various Standing Committees and Task Forces. IDF places great emphasis and importance on ensuring that the work conducted by the Standing Committees and Task Forces are of the highest scientific integrity and are relevant and applicable to the dairy sector and industry as a whole.
IDF is committed to promote Development in Dairying through cooperation with other international organizations, notably FAO. IDF work items pertaining to development in dairying are handled by the respective IDF Standing Committees or IDF Task Forces under which they fall.
IDF experts contribute currently to the work of 18 Standing Committees dedicated to key projects and priorities for dairy worldwide. To learn more about each work area or its respective committees and task forces, please click on the work area of interest to you.
